So I'm finally back from my week spent at a beach house! C: If you remember, I went there last year. That was actually the birthplace of most of Aiden's background - and by that I mean that's where I thought of it, not that he used to live there. xD So of course I drew LOTS of Aiden-related things - but Zee as well! And more! I'll be scanning and uploading those pictures after I fiddle around with my iTunes.
On iTunes, I'm uploading a soundtrack I recently bought. One I bought yesterday, actually - right after seeing the movie. And what kind of movies do I normally want the soundtrack for? Music-related ones.
IF YOU HAVEN'T GUESSED BY THE TITLE AND THESE HINTS -
I really liked it. ;w; It was both heartwarming and musical and funny and it was really good! Not the best movie in the world, but I liked it.
I thought Aly Michalka did a fantastic job in the movie - though I might not be the best judge since I've liked her since I first heard Aly&AJ/saw her in Phil of the Future. (Everyone probably hated me in sixth grade because I wouldn't shut up about the concert I went to. xD ...which now that I think about it, the Jonas Brothers opened up for them. ._. ) Vanessa Ann Hudgens did great too! And Gaelan Cowell is really talented. -w-
I also liked Will's back-story - though it made me want to cry. ;__; I felt so bad.
I think the only bad part about seeing the movie was my mom's cell phone accidentally went off during an emotional part. o__o She thought she had it on vibrate but apparently it wasn't, and we didn't know how to shut it off! So she had to leave the theater to answer it, and my sister and I were sitting there, embarrassed. >_>
it was my grandparents, btw. they were just saying they got off the ferry.
...later they also got into a mini-accident - but only the front of their car was destroyed. They're fine, thankfully.
And after seeing it...I learned I know nothing about music. TT-TT I mean, I know about the instruments, some basics, how a soundboard works, how most things are recorded - but I barely know much about any famous bands. I mean, I know names, like David Bowie, but other than that, I don't know much about them.
Maybe I should think again before starting on Crossing Paths.
I need more information.
...but I need to finish my stupid school book first, Three Cups of Tea. >_>
I don't hate the book. I think it's really sweet, actually. It's just that...I'm forcing myself to take notes on each chapter, and that makes the reading EVEN SLOWER.
I have nineteen more chapters to read and only nine days until school starts!
Oh God. School. I'm already having anxiety fits about it. I couldn't sleep the other night because I was so worried!
The stress and anxiety practically tore my mental stability apart last year - I DON'T WANT IT TO HAPPEN AGAIN.
And along with that, I feel I still have so much I want to do before school starts!
I'M RUNNING OUT OF TIME.
*takes deep breaths* Alright. I gotta calm down. No need to freak about it...at least, not in public.
A-ah, that's it for me! I hope you're all enjoying yourselves! I'll have pictures up soon!
Your Pal,
Toony
