:iconrumbleball: was kind enough to point out that another jerkface has stolen my iCarly picture: [link]

WHY THE HELL DO PEOPLE ENJOY STEALING MY ICARLY PICTURE?! D8<
IT'S NOT EVEN THAT GOOD.
Geez, I'm seriously thinking of taking that picture down.
...but then no one would realize that it was originally my art.

Ugh. Art thieves suck.

Aside from that, I've been pretty gloomy these past few days. Lots of internal drama. And by that I don't mean organs.
I dunno. Everything kinda annoys me nowadays...

But maybe that'll change, seeing how my family's seeing Avenue Q tonight. C: I'm so exciteddd! Though I'm a bit nervous we'll all feel too awkward to talk about it in the car ride home. .__. Well, considering that I saw Year One and Don't Mess with the Zohan with them, it's not like it could get any worse.
Nearly all of the people I told at school had no idea what I was talking about. OTL

OH YEAH. Astro Boy also came out today! 8D I'm hoping to see it on Monday, since I'm busy this weekend and Monday's a half-day at school.
They changed it so much. It's kind of annoying...but I still wanna see it. ^^ (Maybe it's because CGI Astro reminds me of Wilbur Robinson. xD)

So...yeah. I just wanted you all to know that I'm still alive. I'm still trying to plan a Halloween picture...but all I've got down right now are the costumes to be featured. ...yeah...

I hope you all have a good weekend! ^-^

So...I got the Phineas and Ferb soundtrack today.
...guess who's gonna get beaten up by her friends tomorrow? :iconimhappyplz:

No. That's not the main subject of this journal. I'm going to be at my aunt's wedding this weekend so I won't be on much - mainly since I'm not bringing my laptop with me.

Not that it matters, seeing how I'm not updating much anyways. :/
Though I probably will soon, seeing how it's growing close to Halloween and I'm starting to plan the ZEE band's costumes. C: Plus my sister's birthday is coming up and I need to finish coloring her picture. If I like the outcome, I may upload it.

My aunt picked a horrible weekend to have a wedding. :/ ...well, horrible for me. I have to finish my mythological English project for Tuesday, which leaves me only Monday to do the entire poster and prepare my presentation.
by the way, never pick satyrs as your topic. .__. I didn't know about their creepy alcohol addiction and severe lust until now...
plus every site I open up has a creepy picture of a statue/illustration of a goat-man with a VERY OBVIOUS REPRODUCTIVE ORGAN SHOWING. :faint:
I'm not the kind of person who enjoys looking at that stuff.
RICK RIORDAN LIED TO ME. D8<

the only thing I'm looking forward to at this wedding is seeing my awesome young cousins
and possibly my new uncle's son...who I still haven't met.

so...yeah.
basically a pointless update. :/
...sorry for wasting your time! ^^;

I hate school. I hate, hate, hate iiiiit. I swear, it's sucking the life out of me. I was so much happier before September 1st. It's just put me in such a foul mood, and I always end up stressing about something.

Currently I have an English writing assignment due tomorrow that I really don't want to work on. We were supposed to write about a hard choice we had to make in story form. The topic I'm using is personal, so I'm trying to make it as vague as I possibly can, but when I had my sister peer edit it for me she was all, "TOO VAGUE. D<" And at first, I had the entire story prepared. But then I realized that the ending really had nothing to do with the topic of "hard choices"...so my story is going to sound crappier than it should.
My English teacher gives us so much homework each day, it's killing me. I'm getting sick of writing because of her. THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A COLLEGE PREP CLASS, NOT HONORS. D8
so to those I roleplay with, please understand this is why I haven't replied in weeks
Along with that I have a science current event paper that's due date is coming up. Once again - I'm getting sick of writing.

The only thing I really enjoyed about school were the clubs...but now I'm not so sure. Technically we've only had anime club for one day this entire year so far, so I can't really say anything for that, but Mock Trials is held late in the day and is tiring since all I plan on doing is watching and Film Club just isn't sounding as much fun as it originally did since the kids who were in it last year basically decided to exclude us newbies so now we're in two separate groups.

Even animation class is starting to bore me. I mean, I'm sitting in front of a screen for three hours! It's hurting my eyes. @_@ Plus, Flash is very tedious. My sister's good at it, but me...I dunno...
It kinda sucks since I originally wanted to be an animator. Now I'm not so sure. I'm kinda leaning towards writer or voice actress or maybe even comic artist...but I haven't stepped towards those ideas in any way.
Right now it looks like I'm gonna be living in my parents' basement until I'm forty.

I'm kinda losing my faith in everything I do. And by that I mean my art, etc.
My heart is kinda like a lost puppy at the moment.

I don't mean to rant in every single journal I post. >__> It just happens.
Maybe I should get a livejournal or something so I can stop bugging you guys.

On another note, I've been on a real big Teen Titans Go kick this past week! I forgot how great the show was. =D Too bad no one wants to talk about it with me. TT3TT
"so, I've been into Teen Titans a lot this week - "
"hey here's another subject to talk about"
";3;"
Also, comcast has really weird summary descriptions for the episodes. For example, "Mad Mod crashes a 4th of July party and steals Robin's youth with a magical cane." Think about that for a moment.
So I'm planning on drawing more fanart of that soon.

I also sketched Buzz and Woody from Toy Story a lot this weekend because ~SoulInArmor, ~CocoaChocoPowder, and I saw the 3D Double Feature at the movies on Friday. (We were kickin' butt at intermission trivia! >3 )

So yeah. Nothing special going on with me. I love anyone who sat through this entire babbling journal.
...I guess I better get to work on that story now...
I hope you all are enjoying life.

School is draining meeee. u_u We don't drop a period this year in the rotation schedule, so we have every class every day. (ell, technically on one day I have gym instead of graphic design, but you get the point. (Me and :iconsoroluin: are the only girls in our gym class, apparently. ._. ) So I have homework almost every day and projects coming out the wazoo.

I have a current event for Chemistry due in a few weeks - which sounds real easy but my brain just doesn't want to wrap around the paper I need to write D; - and I have an American Revolution project due Tuesday. We were originally going to make a Facebook account for the people we were assigned, but the principal was all like, "NO D<" so now we have to make Facebook posters instead. ...only problem is I'M THE ONLY ONE IN MY US-HISTORY CLASS WHO DOESN'T HAVE A FACEBOOK D8 (literally - we raised hands and I was the only one who kept mine down). So I don't know the layout of a Facebook page. My sister has one, but she forgot her password so she can't show me right now. And ~BowlerHatGirl drew me what a basic layout looks like, but I'm afraid that I'm going to forget something. >__>
But at least my [superspecialawesome] teacher understands that I don't have one so he won't really care if it doesn't look accurate. (He doesn't have one either and said he would never let his kids [who are probably eleven and/or under] have one.) To be honest, it's not so much the layout that's going to frustrate me, but the typing and making sure everything is aligned correctly is going to drive me crazyyyyy.
...p.s. my person is General Charles Cornwallis, the man who "virtually lost America", in case you wanted to know...which you probably didn't.

Later today, my sister and I start our first animation class at the nearby art college. C: I'm actually pretty anxious, because whenever I watch cartoons now I think of how long it must have taken to do all those frames and mine aren't going to look good and I'm probably going to get lazy and tired and...urrrrrh. ;_;
Oh well. Hopefully they come out nice and I learn a lot.
WE'RE STILL GOING TO KEEP OUR PROMISE ON THE EXPLODING CHOCOLATE COW, ANDY.

And tomorrow...tomorrow's going to be a tiring day. My sister and I are babysitting our neighbors for eight hours. D8 It's not that I don't want to do it, it's just...eight hours is a loooong time. Plus all we really do is play Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Hopefully we don't do that for eight straight hours...

AND THEN MONDAY THERE'S NO SCHOOL. 8D THANKS TO THOSE CELEBRATING YOM KIPPUR!
...but we're still going somewhere with out of town friends. @_@ busy busy busy I am.

But don't worry guys. I haven't lost track of my art and such. I doodle sometimes in school. They're not great doodles, but they're doodles nonetheless. The other day my sister and I drew on our driveway in chalk again, and we got nice pictures so I'll probably upload those.

On the topic of Crossing Paths - I'm actually working on it. ;] I've finally started researching all I need to know for the music business. From the public library, I borrowed a fictional book about a band (Guitar Girl by Sarra Manning) so I could see how others viewed fame; a book where "50 writers relive their greatest concert experiences" (The Show I'll Never Forget - put together by Sean Manning), a book about the music business (...I forget what it's called), and a book called "Shadow of a Doubt"...which is a mystery novel and is not related to my research at all. xD So yay for actually reading!
I mainly needed the concert book so I could work on the prologue. That's what's keeping me stuck, at the moment.

And that's it. I just felt like updating~
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Your Pal,
Toony

P.S. yesterday, :iconsoulinarmor:, :iconbowlerhatgirl:, :iconcocoachocopowder:, and I went to Film Club. They showed us two hilarious videos they made last year, and now I am REALLY PUMPED FOR DOING THIS THE REST OF THE YEARRRRR! [Anime Club too, but y'know, I've been making crappy home videos since I was probably eight years old. My anime obsession started when I was nine years old.]
WOO! Maybe I'll actually add something to my YouTube page.

P.P.S. PHINEAS AND FERB SOUNDTRACK COMES OUT TUESDAY!!! SO DOES SELENA GOMEZ'S CD (which I may possibly get) DOES TOO.
WOO.
AND YOU KNOW WHAT THE BEST PART IS? THEY HAVE "Squirrels in My Pants" ON THE P&F CD. 8D It's a dream come trueeeee~

:music: S to the I to the M to the P~ :music:

There's nothing scary about a roast.

  • Mood: Optimism
  • Listening to: What's New Scooby-Doo - Simple Plan
  • Reading: Yotsuba vol. 6
Fred: "So...did you hear the Bears beat the Dolphins yesterday?"

Shaggy: "That's horrible! Who in their right mind would bring bears to the beach?"

So...anyone else catch Scooby-Doo: The Mystery Begins on Cartoon Network earlier tonight? : D
Oh my goooooooosh. It pleased me. I've been a Scooby-Doo nut since I was six years old. It's one of those CN shows I wish they played more often. (Right up there with PPG and the other classics.)

I heard about it months before any trailers started showing. I liked the theater movies, so I thought maybe this one would be alright. Then I saw the full trailers and I started losing a smidge of hope. (Mainly when I noticed Freddie's hair was brunette instead of blonde. :/ But that was really my only problem.)
Boy was I wrooooooong. It's definitely CN's best live-action movie.

The cast really nailed their characters. Nick Palatas (PA-LA-TAS. Don't tell me that is NOT fun to say.) really got Shaggy's voice right! Sometimes I wish I had a manly voice so I could try mimicking his voice. (This one just won't do.) Sometimes I got bugged whenever he laughed, 'cause it always sounded like he was saying "heh heh", but other than that - great! :]
The CGI was kind of poor compared to the theater movies, but what can you do with a low budget for a TV movie? I didn't expect anything less.

I also figured out who the culprit was 1/3 way into the movie...but whatever. It's not like everyone would notice it immediately if they were working on the case, right?

So what else can I say? It was funny, I liked it, seeing Fred's actor dressed like a gangster made me LOL, Daphne had to style Velma again (that always seems to happen), and I recommend it to Scooby fans. C: I'd probably rate it... :star: :star: :star: :star-half: :star-empty:? Most movies I like are never rated that high, anyways. Other people would probably give it lower...but I'm optimistic and I really like Scooby-Doo. D:

I'm gonna feel real bad for my friends tomorrow since I'm going to be quoting the movie a lot. XD Ha ha.

...on another note, I plan to be Velma for Halloween. 8D YAY.

Now it's back to school tomorrow. SIGH. I hope you all had a great weekend!
